Christ the King Sunday with the Sacrament of Holy Baptism (Henry Hunt Burriss, grandson of Woody and Annie Burriss, will be welcomed into the Body of Christ at the 10:30 am service. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall.) Service is Rite II with music.

We will observe the Feast of All Saints on Sunday, November 5. At the 10:30 a.m. service, we will remember those dear to us who have gone on. Blessing of the Animals

Wednesday, Oct. 4 is the feast day of St. Francis, patron saint of animals. On the nearest Sunday, October 1, Church of the Advent celebrates by inviting our animal friends to be blessed. This tradition has been going strong for many years and is a joyous occasion open to anyone who’d like to participate. Easter Egg Hunt on the grounds

  • 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
The annual Easter Egg hunt will take place on Easter morning, April 21st right after the 10:30 service.  We are accepting donations of plastic eggs filled with candy or other goodies for fun.  Please feel free to bring filled plastic eggs to the church office before Saturday, April 20th.
