The little girl said, “I just want to die trying to save somebody’s life.”

Our efforts will not save us and may even put us at the risk of removing ourselves from the cover of God’s protection.
‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve only him.’ Luke 4:8
Our goodness is our goodness because God has bestowed it upon us.
And while he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became dazzling white. Luke 9:29
We will have the opportunity to reflect the light of God’s grace into the world.
But love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Luke 6:35
We are bound by gratitude.
Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Luke 6:20
Proclaiming resurrection is just the start.
“they left everything and followed him.” Luke 5:1-11
Following Jesus is fishing for people.
“none of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian.” Luke 4:21-30
God has more in mind than just us.
“to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor” Luke 4:14-21
There’s a blindness that keeps us from seeing how big God’s love can be.
“and his disciples believed in him.” John 2:1-11
Can we expect wine where there used to be water?
